Great pictures and info, The City sure has a great railroad history. It's always fun to find parts of it when I visit. Muni's F line with the historic trolleys runs right past the old roundhouse. I remember the first time I spotted that old building and knew immediately what it used to be.

Dang it I was down there for the Americas Cup races, walked all over for about 3 hours . How the heck did I miss this beautiful roundhouse I was right next to it. DaGummit.

It is easy to miss, it's a nice little building that doesn't call attention to itself. Besides, the view of the Bay is a bit distracting.

They have fixed it up nice, thanks for the photos steve.
