While waiting for the 4501, these appeared sometime in 1987 or 1988. A good example of CSX's engine care; new and old.

I used to look for those Gray Ghosts, the 7500's on CSX when I lived in Atlanta in the early 1990's. Kinda figured they wouldn't be around, paint scheme wise, for long. Glad I got the ones I did. Thanks for sharing. Ben

CSXT 7728 was delivered sometime between 1991 and 1992 so I think your photo was taken a little later than 1988.

Delivered in August, 1991.
