OSRR ROW looks like it is about 2/3 way down from the top of the '57 photo. Kind of looks like there is repair going on in the '10 photo....thx -- B

Footpath looks a little tebuous, think i stick to the highway above.

Steve -

That "footpath" (actually a bike and foot trail now) used to be State Highway 1 (Coast Highway) until Caltrans bore a tunnel through... less expensive then having to rebuild that section through Devil's Slide after every winter for the last 90 years or so.
