Date: 09/01/14 17:59 Re: SF curve Author: daylightdon You've got to stop these posts-it's so depressing to see all this rail business gone.
I know all about the efficiencies of stack trains and the flexibility of trucks-but I want to go back to a world of colorful, graffiti-free box cars and stop dodging those dang 53' trailers on the beat up freeways we have here in the Golden State.. I guess I'll shut up now and go back to running my Lionels... Date: 09/01/14 18:29 Re: SF curve Author: 1200v The first three shots are of the lead to the SAn Francisco Municipal Railway's Carpenter shop. They are narrow gauge for the cable cars. This track was never connected, it is just a lead to get cars in and out of the shop to a ramp on and off the truck.
