No one really noticed when I climbed the signal bridge for this photo looking south-east back in 1958.

Put on a hard hat and a vest and I'm sure no one will notice.
If you look like you belong there, no one will question you.
Except maybe a signal maintainer!

On the left side of the tracks, the rear of the old police station built in the late 50's (shouldn't it be visible?) the Redwood City Public Library and an appartment complex take up all the real estate down to the Middlefield Rd street crossing.

Driving past on 101 I counted five tall construction cranes. Too many to detail locations and projects since some of the projects are almost on top of each other, what a mess traffic will be.

Right-of-way looks four tracks wide: wide enough for two Caltrain tracks and two high speed tracks......
