Nostalgia & History > Adlake 1158 Class/Marker LampDate: 09/18/14 16:11 Adlake 1158 Class/Marker Lamp Author: Southern3205 Good day all,
I've recently begun the repair/refinishing of a pair of Adlake 1158 lamps and am trying to find the correct internal parts (switch and bulb socket/holder) and the correct power connector. Does anyone have or know where I can find these parts? I'll probably call Adlake at some point to see if they still make them, they're just a tad expensive though. I've attached a picture of the lamps I'm working on. Thanks in advance, Jon Date: 09/18/14 17:30 Re: Adlake 1158 Class/Marker Lamp Author: wattslocal I would guess there are no on-off switches as that should be controlled in the cab.
An industrial socket should suffice. Any other ideas? As to the originality of it, I don't know. The other just had a desk/table lamp bulb socket installed. I'm trying to restore the lamps as close to "as delivered" condition as possible. Maybe to someday be hung on a locomotive somewhere.

Checked them out, no luck, at least on line. I'm traveling now, may just get hold of some phenalic block when I get home and machine some to match. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/20/14 13:53 by Southern3205. |
