A Long Train at Morrison, OK, March 1967

This train must have been two trains (two distinct locomotive sets) and detouring for some reason on March 14, 1967. The red and white locomotives were SLSF 728 a GP35 leading became BN 2578, SLSF 900 a SD45 became BN 6650, and SLSF 824 an U25B became BN 5226. Why didn't I take pictures of the F units? BTW, the grain elevator is still standing.

Right, SLSF 900 was built in Feb 1967. I shot it mid-March 1967.

Another great shot! The oldest (RR) thing in that photo might be those Alco trade-in trucks under the lead unit!
