Conrail GP30 Bethlehem 1978
Author: erielackawanna

On February of 1978 I got my usually non-photographing-railfan father to take me to find Alcos in Bethlehem. Although we did spot a lot of Alcos that day, we didn't get many of them on film due to being behind trees or other obstructions. One of the best shots I got on the day (I was 16 and a camera spaz) was this image of a freshly painted GP30 at the old CNJ, then LV roundhouse).

You mean considering that it's got what looks like a turbo stack and dynamic
brake housing vents?
