Interesting that in picture 2 an engine is pulling an inbound train.
Didn't the MILW have cab cars in 65 or is this something special?

What is presenting the need for telltales in the second to last photo? I don't know if I ever noticed that before in the that terminal.

Keep the good stuff coming. I'm really enjoying this MILW series.

Hi Marty,
Remarkable shots! The answer to your question in photo 2 is FP7A 97-A , she was the only Milw F to wear the passenger yellow lettering on the Orange and black scheme. And the 97-C remained in full passenger yellow colors throughout 1976 and 1977. Again great shots from my fraovite era!
Phil

Sorry about that, make my last comment for the 97-A "picture3" thanks! As for picture 2, yes the milwaukee had cab cars... one is trailing the unit, must have been a mechanical issue somewhere down the line. As for the comments about the "Tell-Tales " in the second shot of 98-A, the photographer is standing on the "North Avenue" bridge looking down on the Milw "Beer Line" engine facility there. Therefore they had them to warn employees of an earlier generation of the bridge at North Ave. as well as several other locations on this branch.
