Here's a grab shot of a pair of SOO GP40's at Kansas City during a visit in 1988.

Great shot, thanks for sharing this. Was this coming in on the old Milwaukee Road line into Kansas City or was this pooled power on another KC line?

I could be wrong but I just checked Google Maps for the intersection of Wilson Ave and Bennington Ave and it appears that this train is on the ex-ATSF Transcon heading west towards Argentine Yard. Perhaps this is a SOO to ATSF transfer run?

That's interesting. I don't know KC really well (was visiting there on this trip and just wandering around).
