Airing out a Geep at Bayshore Roundhouse
Author: photobob

Just about every door on this Geep has been opened for an inspection at SP's Bayshore Roundhouse in the early 1960's. Bayshore was a cool place to hang out without getting into trouble back in the old days.

Thanks for the memories, Bob. Nice to see empty train indicators. A sure sign the photo was taken before June of 1967 when things went south as to displaying train numbers. That was one of the unique things about the old SP and then they went and messed it up.

Nice work, Bob. I spent many a lunch hour there with my dad. Never did get any problems.... Probably should say, spent many a lunch "twenty-minutes-and-eat-wherever-you-are-at-noon" with my dad. Although that "policy" may have come in the seventies, I don't really remember.

Thanks
