Author: 3rdswitch

. . all have most likely been posted at some time or other.
top: Eastbound train #620 along Columbia River, Lyle, WA 5-91.
middle: Southbound coal climbing on the Joint Line between Castle Rock and Orsa, CO, boy has this scene changed 8-93.
bottom: Southbound coal load has finished the climb up the Monument Divide at Palmer Lake, CO 9-84. Never thought this would be my neighborhood thirty years later!

I miss those days down on the Joint Line:{ Strange that the pair of Oakways are smoking it up more than the older SD40-2's!

The Lyle location looks great. Another RR that I miss, from Trackside anyways.
