This train is running between Emporia and Topeka, KS on the traditional passenger main.

and a signal maintainer based out of Osage City. The depot agent would spend some time of is week at the next station north at Burlingame KS. I also spent lots of hours riding with the local crew one day they asked me if I wanted to ride to Topeka and back I said sure then they asked me if I needed to go tell my mom I said no lets go boy did I get in trouble for that one I think at the time I might have been 15.
