mFile critter, 42 years ago, any history?

Just came across this while looking for something else ... I took this shot in the St. Louis area (in a scrapyard?) on a very overcast April 20, 1972. Other than the location, and that it's a Davenport, my past attempts to determine any history have failed. Maybe someone on TO can help.

it could quite possibly be at the Azcon scrapyard in Alton, Illinois.
