Being a native Barbarian, born 1963, these images were all during my formative years. Keep going with all this good stuff. Why do I like trains? Santa Barbara station, maybe 1968, '69, '70, my dad picking me up so I could touch the Southern Pacific Redball with wing on the side of the passenger cars. From then on, well, that is the rest of the story....

Those are some really great photos. All of them! And the last one is SUPERB! Awesome!! The Romero Fire burned October 1971.
