SP Flare on the Shasta Route

We're at Milepost 277 in northern California between Dunsmuir and Roseville on June 7, 1989. An SD45 leads the PTLAT (Portland to LA Trailers) geographically southbound at Obrien, making good time. The SP's full light package never looked better!

Sure looks strange without class lights. Kinda like erasing dimples off 'o your face.
