Here's one for WB Wed: AT&SF #81 .... #'s 81 and #84 were the 'regulars' into Rice Yard back in the late 60's and early 70's .... note the number board on the left

A very interesting locomotive. This must be 81L but there is no "L" above the anticlimber. There was an 81A.

According to http://www.atsfrr.com/resources/CrossetGene/ATSF_all-time%20diesel%20roster/

81L was built in Jan. 1953 as E1B #2B.
She then became #2A:2
She was rebuilt to E8Am on Dec. 4, 1952 and renumbered 81L in Feb. 1953 with SRW [silver/red/white?] paint and no Indian-head logo on her side.
She retired [date unknown] and went to EMD for the GP38 series.
