Here are two shots of what is left of the SP roundhouse in West Oakland about 1959 or 60..At one time, SP was turning over steam power like know bodies business...The shot with the two stacks is looking toward the direction of the Oakland Mole and the wiskers are just in front.....In the other shot, you can still see the wiskers with the steam lines still in place...Where the board walk is, is where in bound and out power coming from San Jose, S.F and Tracy were checked out before going into the House for servicing...

The wash racks for Amtrak and a freight house for a small trucking Co.
