Let's make it a Katy day

Just some shots of the MKT in Texas in the late 1970's early 1980's.

First picture is of the abandoned MKT freight house in Cisco Tx that was on the Rotan branch from Waco Tx.. It still exists.

At Tower 55 a variety of power is passing through headed south.

Here is another train, this time northbound past Tower 55 in the same time period.

And lastly MKT #44 sitting by the east side of the MKT roundhouse at Ney Yard in Ft Worth.

The B unit in the Tower 55 photo still has the steam generator stack on it. Looks like the number is 75 but I can't make out the letter. Thanks for sharing these photos.

#44 Was originally Baldwin S12' sent to EMD for re-engine/ alternator, etc went to the Georgetown RR and I believe may still be there, was 5 years ago anyway

72C is F7 , originally wore red/ yellow scheme, then solid dipped red, then Deere as shown. Booster is F7 also.
