Lettering on Weyerhaeuser Lidgerwood Skidder #3 & Moving Car #155
Author: GYModeller

In the December 2012 issue ofHighline, from the Roots of Motive Power, there are two images of Weyerhaeuser
Timber Company Lidgerwood tower skidder #3 being prepared for moving. Included
in one of the images is WTCo steel deck moving car #155. In both of these
images, the skidder and the steel deck moving car have been recently lettered,
which is pretty rare in the WTCo images I have seen. On the steel deck moving
car there are three lines of lettering to the right of the ”WEYERHAEUSER TIMBER
CO.” and two lines to the left of “155” which I cannot read because of
pixilation problems. Does anyone have a better quality image that shows what
these two groupings say?
On an image of the skidder alone, there is ”WEYERHAEUSER TIMBER CO.” on the skidder’s moving car and on the
mainframe of the skidder. To the right of the mainframe lettering are two other
groups of lettering that I cannot read. In addition, there is lettering above
the rear support leg that I cannot read as well. Again, can anyone help me in
deciphering the unknown lettering?
I want to include these groups oflettering in a decal set I am preparing. I would be happy to provide free
copies of the finished decals to anyone that can help me on this project.
