Author: run8diesel

Three of Northwestern's GP30s and a GP35 lead newly-formed Fox River Valley Railroad's (FRVR) Proviso to Green Bay manifest at Glenview, IL on Sept 2, 1989.  The 'FRVR' was Northwestern's spinoff of the line from Milwaukee to Green Bay.

Back in the early days of Con Rail, they leased a few of these along with some SD45's, the U30C's and some SD40's. Have shots of all these models when they ran on CR.  Thanks for sharing.  Ben

I ran them on the FRV off and on when I worked for them as an Engineer for a month. They were an adventure! We moved back to Colorado... === === = === JLH
