Got to Post Those Hometown Photos

CB&Q F3AB 128DC (built in 1948) and a F7A, making a perfect ABA set, lead a freight through Westmont, Illinois on January 26, 1966.  The Q bought its early F-unit in ABBA sets.  Being a flatlander railroad it descovered for trains of the day it needed only three units.  So it broke the ABBA sets in half and added an F7A to each half.  Nice solution!

Enjoy,
Marty Bernard
