On the last photo (1113 inbound J at Church & Duboce), the view looking out Church Street shows the reason for that short private right of way, in order to climb the Church Street hill.

Keep the Muni PCC shots coming.

And here's 1108 at the end of its last revenue run in Sept. 1982.  It was early AM Monday morning, and the end had come (or so we thought) for PCC operation west of Cleveland OH.

The young lady is Chris--she wasn't a railfan, but saw a news item on TV and wanted to be part of San Francisco history.
