few Santa Fe switchers . . .

.  .  .  an old scanned B&W print of Santa Fe's First Torrance road switcher working at ALCOA station in Torrance, CA around '68 (top) . The tie up track at the second Torrance depot on a Sunday around '68 (middle). A San Bernardino, CA Santa Fe yard job working alongside the old A yard from the Mt Vernon overpass near the station around '68 (bottom).

It is great not having all the rolling stock with graffiti all over it. When I think people respected other peoples property!

Nice JB. These are from real railroading era--kept up equipment and no litter or brake shoes and air hoses laying around--really nice photos and memories.

Guess all the pictures I'm finding from the 1950's of stored equipment with the windows broken out got that way through hard couplings...
