Here are several shots of BN U30C #1776 leading a southbound train through Wyoming's Wind River Canyon on June 19, 1975.   Our nation's Bicentennial would be celebrated one year later.

i recall a trip to the Tetons via Wind River around the same time frame - I believe the water appears to flow "up hill" (north) through the gorge.

Very nice catches. To catch a train in the canyon at all is pretty good but catching one of the three leading is awesome.
