Santa Ana, CA - August 1978 - AT&SF (and Amtrak)

Here are three from August 1978, at the 'prior' Santa Ana depot; it was replaced a few years later.  The local crew was waiting for the LA-bound Amtrak train to pass, and then headed out shortly afterwards.

Thanks for posting the photos, I spent a lot of time at the Santa Fe's Santa Ana station. The boxcars in the third photo is on the SP Santa Ana Branch that was next to the Santa Fe at that location.
