Warbonnet Wednesday Bakersfield

The Santa Fe FP45's were some of my favorite power. While living in Bakersfield in 1990 I got these two shots.

#1 is just east of where they built the new Amtrak depot.

#2 is passing the wye at Jastro headed north (west) to Richmond

Thanks for looking

Jay

Oddly enough, the lead unit on both trains is the same FP45.  Santa Fe renumbered the FP45's out of sequence when they first repainted them in Superfleet red and silver, then put them back in their correct order when they renumbered them to the 90-class.
