Boothbay Railway Village Then and Now
Author: MartyBernard

1. I first visited the Boothbay Railway Museum (2-foot gauge) on August 19, 1970.

2. I recently visited the Boothbay Railway Village on August 25, 2012.

The name change I'm sure is the broaden interest in the museum by broadening its scope.

3. They keep Maine's Merci Train boxcar.  If you are not familar with the Merci Train see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merci_Train

4. Another photo from 1970.

5. And one more from 2012.

Enjoy,
Marty Bernard

Last photo with vintage auto almost predates color film!  (LOL)  Great scene.
