Remember the San Jac Turn ?

October 6, 1990

#1.....Northbound (westbound) I think,  at March AFB. Old US395 in the background. Now the new highway is called I-215.
#2.....passing by  University of California Riverside
#3.....About to enter the main line at Highgrove

Really enjoy seeing photos of branch line operations. While I still call the highway along the San Jac seen in the first photo US 395, the website on Califonia Highways indicates that the road has been signed 15 and later 215 since the latter part of the 1960s, it is hard to believe it has been that long.
