Author: agentatascadero Hmmm, interesting....it appears the engine number is in the number boards. I would have expected this to be a disabled engine from the commute pool or the Del Monte. Wonder if there is a rest of the story? As always, another great historical SP post. AA

Dave Date: 09/26/15 06:40 Re: SP 2456 & SP coach yard ? Author: hogheaded This is the first picture I've seen of a streamlined P-10 on the Peninsula, even though the skirts were not removed from them until 1950. I always assume that they were assigned to Oakland at the time, so yeah, like Stanford, I'm wondering what the deal is.
In the second shot, I'm wondering what the louvers inside the car were about. Heating vents? Never seen that before, either. I've enjoyed the out-of-the-ordinary shots that you have shared lately, Frank. "Puzzling" is good mental exercise for us old farts. EO Date: 09/26/15 08:12 Re: SP 2456 & SP coach yard ? Author: TonyJ The second photo is the east end of the coach yard.
