------------------------------------------------------- > Eastern Colorado. :-) The general answer is you are in the right area but need a little help on how you define east (which will certainly narrow the search area). For many of us 'eastern Colorado' is the eastern plains from the northern state line to the southern state line, some actually lump eastern Colorado into everything east of the Continental Divide! Date: 10/08/15 11:58 Re: BN merger 'diamond in the rough' whereizit Author: TCnR I'd guess one of the diamonds for the Great Western or pre-merger UP branches, but somebody needs to fess up with some details. Mostly by the grass cover and the mountains in the background, doesn't look like the east-west merger routes.
Nice photo, thanks for posting. Date: 10/08/15 12:00 Re: BN merger 'diamond in the rough' whereizit Author: valmont BlackWidow Wrote:

BN detour on UP at Officer Jct. ? Date: 10/08/15 17:21 Re: BN merger 'diamond in the rough' whereizit Author: Rainier_Rails Windsor, CO?
Date: 10/08/15 17:25 Re: BN merger 'diamond in the rough' whereizit Author: train1275 I was thinking Windsor too (having lived there) but "what the .... " as far as this train there !!
I can't get my head around that one. I was just noticing the rails on each line are rather light looking. Date: 10/08/15 18:00 Re: BN merger 'diamond in the rough' whereizit Author: CPW548 Boulder, CO at the UP crossing.
