top: A southbound "Inside Gateway" train was climbing a grade near Metolious, OR 3-75. middle: Amazingly recent solid standard cab EMD lashup was in the siding at Woodford, CA, waiting a meet 1-05. bottom: Westbound SP train climbing Cajon Pass below Hiland, CA 1-92. As for the first BN shot, I believe the southbound train is topping the hill just north of Madras. It's pretty flat over by Metolius. That time of day, probably train 171, maybe a late 139.
