1. CTA all wood "L" car 1797 at the Illinois Railway Museum, North Chicago, IL on August 25, 1962.. 2. Fox River & Eastern Elecric Railway line car 11 at the Fox River Trolley Museum (when it was brand new and called RELIC), South Elgin, IL in July 1966. 3. That's what our railway museums do. Bring back artifacts to near mint condition and use them to teach. Riding in 1797 or any of hundreds restored rail vehicles across the country at our musums is pure teaching and learning. Well there is some playing with trains involved. Marty Bernard |
