Come Join the Georges Creek Railway as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a Western Maryland Revival on the Original Western Maryland Railway Georges Creek Sub Division trackage for a day of celebrations and photo seminars and night photo sessions using authentic Western Maryland locomotives with hands on instructions from the professionals at Push Media Group and Canon Professional Services.

This is your chance to participate in an amazing day of activities that includes photo sessions of authentic Western Maryland locomotives in service on rails that haven’t seen trains in years and well over 30 years since the last authentic Western Maryland locomotive operated on this former piece of CSX track that was once vital to the coal business of the Western Maryland in Allegheny County for so many years. Instruction of Canon products as well as seminars and instructions on usage of DJI drone equipment for railfan photography will be included as part of this event.

Following a day of activities that includes lunch, Western Maryland Railway historians, historic photo presentations featuring noted Western Maryland Historians, Georges Creek owned Western Maryland locomotives will operate on a few miles of original Western Maryland trackage from Westernport to Barton, where locomotives will be posed for photographs at night as part of a night photo session and instruction on speedliting locomotives at night.
