Very nice, JB.  Easy to see why the WM was a fan-favorite.

#197 "Hump Back" RS3 in Photo 1 very interesting.  This was necessary to accomodate both Dynamic Brakes and a Steam Generator.  WM had three more of these units #192 - #194.  None were saved.

Only other "Hump Back" RS3 was PRR #8445. Was subsequently renumbered PRR #5669 then PC #5669. Then was traded to LV where it was numbered LV #211.  Next it went into CR as CR #5487.  After going through the DeWitt Geep Program and receiving an EMD prime mover, it was renumbered CR #9920. Presently it is preserved at ROCHESTER & GENESSE VALLEY RR MUSEUM in LAKEVILLE NY painted as LV #211.

Only made one trip to Hagerstown, myself, in February 1976. Did not get even one "Hump Back" but otherwise got everything I had hoped to get.

Just to let you know, the WM #181 BL-2 is sitting outside the B&O R.R. Museum with all the other valuable equipment being left to rust away.  No Ranting here; just telling it like it is and the museum management does NOT care about it, the ex-Reading 2101 American Freedom Trains Steamer, or any of their B&O Passenger Cars.  All are there being left to rust away.

fwiw...the LV 211 is not at Lakeville, NY, but rather Industry NY on Route 251 between Scottsville, NY and Rush NY and is now and RS3m, aka EMD prime mover.
