My first RR service came that summer in the form of M.O.W. labor. While you were shooting here on the east side of KC I was toting ties & driving spikes in the Morris ~ Holliday ~ Olathe area on the west side. After seeing nothing but GP-7s & F-units in Abilene, KS in my growing up years I received a visual education and a very enjoyable "wake-up call" to the real, big-time railroading that was the Santa Fe in the early 1970s.

Author: brc600 Is that THIRD U25B a dirty Santa Fe or a Penn Central unit? Conrail was a few years away. It might be the NYC U25B that made it all the way to Conrail in NYC lettering! TFV
