Was there any rhyme or reason why some NP locos were trimmed out in white, and others in yellow and white, as we see here. Was the latter a freight thing; a development late in the steam era? That B unit in the left side of the shot is clearly the first MILW paint scheme. Cool photo, Vince, thanks for posting.
