1. CNW 864, 814, and 821 (GP35, GP30, and GP30) location unknown, January 1979

2. CNW 6909 and 6916, SD40-2s, January 1979

3. UP SD40-2 3411, Feather River Canyon, CA in Novemebr 1978

4. UP SD40-2 3411, Feather River Canyon, CA, Novemebr 1978

5. UP SD40-2 3579, SD40-2 3760, C30-7 2400, and DDA40X 6943, Feather River Canyon, CA, November 1984

I can help with the Feather River ones. All are EBs.

#3 is east of Sloat

#4 is the east end of Spring Garden 

#5 is west of Virgilia

That Spring Garden shot is another one that would be tough today due to tree growth (and a dearth of eastbounds too).

Photo 1 is at the west end of Proviso Yard, a location often referred to as "County Line" as it was on the Cook-DuPage county border.  The I-294 bridge would be behind the photographer.
