.   .   .   worked on a couple of difficult (dark, scratched negatives and blurry dark cheap film) photo from various periods;
​top: Westbound Thornton, CA 8-71.
​middle: Westbound Palermo, CA 12-75.
bottom: Hillyard, Spokane, WA 8-71.

Very nice from someone only saw one WP unit, a GP40-2 heading west throgh La Crosse...

Great stuff, even a sky blue F45! WP was a great road, usually very friendly (except Stockton!). Kind of like Western maryland.

Always a pleasure to see WP photo's.  I had a college roommate in Sacramento who came from a WP railroader family, he worked for WP a short time but his father and grandfather were both career RR men with the WP.

Last one is delivery run. Put in service at Seattle on BN-WP run-throughs to get tax advantage. I  believe it's a former GE demonstrator unit, U33B derated to U30B.

Yes, they took delivery of two exDemos which were actually side by side on two different trains this day.
