Nostalgia & History > Zoooooming like a ZephyrDate: 06/26/16 20:27 Zoooooming like a Zephyr Author: MartyBernard This Burlington Northern crew has 'em rolling good in the Chicago western suburbs. Rolling on the Raceway. The Rio Grande run-through power adds to the fun. The Raceway is not just for Zephyrs.
Hoping for green boards all the way so they will be at Clyde within a half hour. They're at Lisle now. Zoooooming like a Zephyr. (May 13, 1991) Marty Bernard Date: 06/27/16 04:00 Re: Zoooooming like a Zephyr Author: rrpreservation Fantastic shot!!! Thanks for sharing it.

Things have formal names and beloved things also have nick names. Neither is incorrect. I have posted many photos of the East-End Way Freight but we all know the Zephyrs flew down the Racetrack.
