F Unit Friday and throw in Used to Was RDC Thursday too!!

Four cars trailing the F unit look like de-motored RDCs!

In the 1980s, the MBTA Fs appeared in two paint schemes.  One scheme, shown in this photo, had a broad purple band wrapped around the middle of the locomotive with yellow trim and the rest of the locomotive painted silver.  The other scheme, which I felt was much more attractive, featured a silver band wrapped around the middle of the locomotive with yellow trim and the rest of the locomotive painted in an attractive shade of maroon.

The Irish in Boston would always offer you some tea.
​Boston was the location of a famous tea party
​The operating authorities were the MTA and the MBTA
 Boston has a thing about it's T!!

and I enjoy T each time I return to Boston
