What Just Happened?
Author: refarkas

Something historical just happened. What are these people looking at and discussing? (No, it is not raining black dots. This is Kodak Tri-X push-processed to ASA 1200. This is after some noise reduction! I could have used more noise reduction, but I didn't want to over process it.))
Ex-RDG 2102 had been sold to a group in Akron, Ohio where she had been restored to service. This is her first test run in the summer of 1968. Here she is approching the B&O Akron Union Station walkbridge on her eastbound run to Hudson, Ohio to be turned on the Penn Central wye for her return trip to Akron.

Yes it is. There have been rumors it will be removed, but it is still there.

No, 2102 was always a coal burning locomotive. 2100 was converted to oil burning when she was out west.
