I have photographed Amtrak 4, a GE P42DC built in August 1996, on 5 different occasions. The first encounter was in 1999 and the last in 2014. Here is the 4th encounter.

One afternoon while volunteering at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC, I headed down the road to Salisbury and set up to photogtaph Train  79, the Carolinian. And leading was AMTK 4 on April 22, 2013.
