Here are a couple ALCO switchers from nearly 40 years ago.
Image one: B&M 1274 (ALCO S4) is in Portland, Maine on June 14, 1977.
Image two: Toledo Terminal 108 (ALCO S2) is in the engine facility in Toledo, Ohio on August 24, 1977.

Nice photos and models. I grew up with those on the UP in Salina KS. They sure could pull a yard track full of cars with ease. Hard to beat the old end cab switchers. Brian
