F-Unit Friday - B&O 4593
Author: refarkas

B&O 4593 heads north to Warwick Yard on this 1967/1968 image taken as it crosses South 1st Street in Warwick, Ohio. It is pulling coal most likely from southern Ohio. If you look closely at the crossing, the other track is the connector track between this B&O line and the PRR line from Warwick to Orrville and on to Columbus.

Very nice Bob. I always look forward to your postings. I wonder if that second unit ended its career in what was presumably its delivery scheme.

I agree it's a nice photo, and there were a few F units that never were repainted from the original scheme up to when they were retired.
Thanks for sharing the photo; love the B&O.

Interesting horn arrangement on that lead unit.
