N&W Bellevue Yard Engine Facility - June 1973
Author: refarkas

This was the N&W engine facility in Bellevue, Ohio in June 1973. There are ALCO, GE, and EMD locomotives and two slugs made from FM H24-66 Trainmasters.
How different this is now!

Really neat photo--that's a lot of power laying around.

Nice photo. I see a few of the blue paint scheme still working. With all those yard lights I wonder what the place looked like at night?
I know, dark; but looks like you didn't need a lantern, at least in the locomotive servicing area.

Nice assortment of power with a good representation of Alco, GE and EMD.

Really nice look at the power mix there in 1973.  Tons of detail (literally!).  That BW caboose appears to have a big hamburger logo. I wonder how many got that scheme? I recall smaller logos on most cabs I've seen from that era.
