Marion Monday - C&O

In December 1966, Mike Ondecker and I were in Marion, Ohio over Kent State's Christmas vacation. Here is a northbound C&O heading towards the EL diamonds by the EL station. We rode the EL "Lake Cities" from Akron, Ohio to Marion and back to Akron that day. While this gave us only a few hours in Marion, it was really worth it.

I would bet there are a lot of other people here who would like to do that same day trip. I wasn't born yet but I'd love to go. Did you guys ride the Kent State buses to Akron or get a ride or something?

At the time KSU did not have a bus service. I picked up my buddy in my 67 VW and took him to the EL station.
