What's up with the trolleys in Yakima.  Almost never here anything.  I hope they are still working on restoring overhead wire (that was stolen by some of the thousands of meth-heads and tweakers that live in Washington).

Ed, I know that some overhead wire was stolden years ago.  Did it happen again rather recently?   I know Orange Empire leaves voltage on their overhead all the time just for that reason.

I was in Yakima just a couple weeks ago and while Inhad no time to devote tomrailfanning, did notice overhead wire on one streetcar crossed(above track embedded in pavement but I failed tomnotecstreet name. main drag across town there is a couplet using separate road forveachbdirection, so one direction crosses electrified track at grade but other is separated complicating verification of sitings.
