Nostalgia & History > WAYBAC/Way Back Wednesday: B&O Akron Union Station

It is the late 1960's in Akron, Ohio, and I am standing on the platform of B&O's Akron Union Station looking north. While this may look similar to my 11/21/2016 image in "Nostalgia & History", this is much closer up the platform. The structure on the platform is the bottom of the escalators to the walkbridge seen above the platform.
WAYBAC: Here is the full view as taken by my Mamiya C3 twin lens reflex 120 roll film camera. It took 2 and 1/4 inch square negatives.
Way Back: Here is the eastbound EL freight with two EMD SD45's and an EMD F3A passing a westbound EL trailer train. This is a large crop of a very small area on the negative.

Great work, Bob! Do you have any pics of Midwest Chapter NRHS, Akron Railroad Club or Steam Tours trips leaving from Akron?

I may have a photo or photos of Steam Tours trips out of Akron. Please give a few days.
