Nostalgia & History > From The Same Roll (Part Two)Date: 01/06/17 07:02 From The Same Roll (Part Two) Author: refarkas Here are three more from the same roll taken of the EL in Kent, Ohio in the late 1960's/early 1970's.
Image one: EL 3613 and 3609 are my contribution for "Flare Friday". Image two: L&NW 6036 seems so small compared to the normal boxcars of that day. Image three: EL 2512 (GE U25B), 2404 (ALCO C424), 2577 (EMD GP35) power a westbound train. Having a lashup with three different builders was not that unusual on the EL at that time. I guess it was their "we don't discriminate" 4 axle power lashup. Date: 01/06/17 07:42 Re: From The Same Roll (Part Two) Author: Grand87 Alco's , GE's and EMD's oh my !
